I am an artist who works and researches with individuals and communities as well as on my own practice. Based in London, United Kingdom, I was born in Adelaide, South Australia in 1959.

My work explores embodiment, gender, sexuality and identity and utilises a range of media including sculpture, performance, film and installation. I have exhibited my work internationally as well as developing creative arts projects and exhibitions with individuals and groups from diverse communities.

I also have a long term interest in art in healthcare having been employed as an artist, curator, arts and crafts teacher and project manager in hospital settings in the UK. I currently work as an art teacher in a hospice in West London - working creatiely with people in their own homes and in the hospice.  I  was awarded a doctorate in 2012 for my arts based reseach project  Mouths and Meaning from The University of Salford, Manchester.
